Tree Circle

Tree Circle by Kate Jackson. Don't know why I have been playing like this but I made a tree circle with the Filter - Distort - Polar Co-ordinates.

A Marsh Picture by Mary Stebbins Tate

Sunset, Black and Grey

The clouds were as nice as the colors in this picture, and this way, you save on toner ink.

Big, Big Rock

Here is a cave painting I made from a picture from Leaflady. As you can see, rocks were much lighter long ago... this one just washed ashore...............Mike Serafin

Rock and Wave

Imagine you're back in the far reaches of time, before God invented color, and you had to send a postcard.
This is a detail of a picture sent to me by Leaflady from California...............Mike Serafin

Jackstraw Winter

Mary Stebbins Taitt sent me this photo from a walk in the woods, and I thought it might be neat to have it look a little old timey. This was the result!.....Mike Serafin

Trinidad Beach

Trinidad today. These were taken at the beach I usually go to. Leaflady (Gail)

beaches

Even tho it was sunny this afternoon, it was kind of hazy. The (first) backlit picture is cool in its way, tho.  The second pic shows a different beach, that I hadn't ever been to before. I walked about a mile down the trail through the woods, then down another steep trail to the beach. I guess I should have lightened it up some.

on the trail, California Coast

These two were taken along the trail. They show things I saw on the walk that I wanted to share -- a tree covered with a LOT of green moss over a stream and a scenic overlook.  Leaflady (Gail).

Wisconsin Snow

A few days after my arrival here in Milwaukee, there were 60 degree temperatures, a 100 car pile up on the freeway due to unseasonal fog, and tornadoes in January. I thought to myself,"gee, this is just like home." Actually the weather back home was in the 70's at the time.

Now it's snowing here again. Yea! I'm acting like a little kid that's seeing snow for the first time. This allium, however, I think is a little confused. He looks like he thought spring was coming a little early. I guess the 60 degree weather here has confused a lot of things.

Seeing the white horses lifted my spirits on a day I felt very low.
They felt magical.

fox

I photographed this fox in my yard on Christmas day. He (or is it a she?) comes around fairly often. He's cautious but not really timid. Notice the hints of red fur. I wonder if he's a cross between a red and a grey fox.  Photo and comment by Leaf Lady (Gail).
