This looks somewhat "christmasy," well, I guess if I will be the one to look. I only see this in postcards. But it makes me sad to think that Silk Creek is like this in the winter, when I have seen it in all its glorious summer and fall colors. Aren't "summer flings" more beautiful and amazing?? :)

I think winter is very beautiful, just in a different way. It's more austere.

What I don't like about winter most are dangerously slippery roads and sidewalks.

Fresh snow is pretty but old snow can be really ugly and messy. Especially in the city.

Silk Creek is almost always pretty.

I wish we can all spend Christmas at Silk Creek, sweeties and all :). That will surely cheer Scott up!!

Yes, a big party with lots of bright lights, good food, color, love, hugs all around would be JUST THE THING!!! :-) :-)

Why not spend Christmas here in the Philippines? Where the longest celebration of Christmas do happen? I know you will enjoy it here with all the foods that will be serve, all the carols being sang, all the festivities of Christmas can truly be felt in the warmth and hospitality of the Filipino people.

That sounds wonderful! And it would probably be a lot WARMER, too! What's the temperature like there on Christmas?

If I was coming there to celebrate, I'd have to bring about 30 people with me, though! I would be sad without my family! LOL! :-)
