I think winter is very beautiful, just in a different way. It's more austere.

What I don't like about winter most are dangerously slippery roads and sidewalks.

Fresh snow is pretty but old snow can be really ugly and messy. Especially in the city.

Silk Creek is almost always pretty.

Yes, a big party with lots of bright lights, good food, color, love, hugs all around would be JUST THE THING!!! :-) :-)

Why not spend Christmas here in the Philippines? Where the longest celebration of Christmas do happen? I know you will enjoy it here with all the foods that will be serve, all the carols being sang, all the festivities of Christmas can truly be felt in the warmth and hospitality of the Filipino people.

That sounds wonderful! And it would probably be a lot WARMER, too! What's the temperature like there on Christmas?

If I was coming there to celebrate, I'd have to bring about 30 people with me, though! I would be sad without my family! LOL! :-)
