This is definitely one damsel, and certainly not one in distress. This is beautiful Mary. It is really amazing how you can capture such and allow us to see them in your photographs. I have never seen a damselfly before. Its wings are beautiful, some sort of a flowing cape or gown that probably makes it fly like some kind of a majesty or, well, a damsel. Its really beautiful.

Thank you, Pea! They are beautiful and they come in many colors, blue green red, black. Some have clear wings. They eat mosquitoes! YAY! I love them.

We all saw these together at Silk Creek.
