crocuses

These don't look real, do they? I can't take credit for growing them -- they just came up.
 
And I can't take credit for shooting them -- well, I pushed the button, but I just left it on "auto" and zoomed way in. The camera did all the work.

YOU did take the picture, you saw them, you chose to to aim the camera, you decided how to frame it, it's your baby.

And you chose a great angle for the lighting, because you're right. They don't look real. The color is amazing. Great shot!

Gail, when you say "it's not me it's the camera", think about what happens when you pick up a pen to write! It doesn't operate on automatic pilot!

PS...this is perhaps the most incredible thing I've seen come straight out of a camera since I started in the TV business 38 years ago! (A close second was Arthur the Dancing Prune, who did a number on the top of a studio monitor. We made him a star, and then we ate him.)
